Roasted potato slices with cheese


 Ingredients:

- 4-5 medium potatoes

- 2 tablespoons olive oil

- 1 teaspoon salt

- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

- 1 teaspoon garlic powder

- 1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)

- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

- Grated Parmesan cheese (for garnish)


 Instructions:


1. **Preheat Oven**: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).


2. **Prepare Potatoes**: Wash the potatoes thoroughly. Slice them into thin rounds, about 1/4 inch thick.


3. **Season Potatoes**: In a large bowl, toss the potato slices with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until evenly coated.


4. **Arrange on Baking Sheet**: Lay the seasoned potato slices on a baking sheet in a single layer, slightly overlapping.


5. **Bake**: Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the potatoes are golden brown and crispy on the edges.


6. **Add Cheese**: Remove the baking sheet from the oven and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the potatoes.


7. **Melt Cheese**: Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.


8. **Garnish and Serve**: Remove from the oven, sprinkle with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.
