Nutella Beignets
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Nutella
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
2. In a separate bowl, mix milk, egg, and vanilla extract.
3. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until well combined.
4. Heat oil in a deep fryer or heavy-bottomed pot to 350°F (180°C).
5. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
6. Remove the beignets from the oil and drain on paper towels.
7. Allow the beignets to cool slightly, then pipe Nutella into the center of each beignet.
8. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
