THREE-CHEESE MEATBALL STUFFED SHELLS
Ingredients:
12 jumbo pasta shells
1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
1 cup ricotta cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup marinara sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Cook the Pasta Shells:
Cook jumbo pasta shells according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside to cool slightly.
Prepare the Cheese Mixture:
In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, beaten egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
Cook the Meatballs:
Form small meatballs from the ground beef (or turkey). In a skillet over medium heat, cook the meatballs until they are browned and cooked through. Set aside.
Stuff the Shells:
Take each cooked pasta shell and stuff it with a spoonful of the cheese mixture, then place a meatball inside. Arrange the stuffed shells in a baking dish.
Add the Sauce and Bake:
Pour marinara sauce over the stuffed shells in the baking dish, ensuring they are evenly coated. For extra richness, consider using a mix of marinara and Alfredo sauce.
Bake:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the stuffed shells in the oven for 25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve:
Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your delicious three-cheese meatball stuffed shells!
