Alfredo Chicken Wings
Ingredients :
2 lbs chicken wings, cut into flats and drumettes.
1 tablespoon olive oil.
1 teaspoon garlic powder.
1 teaspoon onion powder.
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning.
1/2 teaspoon salt.
1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
1/4 cup unsalted butter.
2 cloves garlic, minced.
1 cup heavy cream.
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese.
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg (optional).
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish).
Grated Parmesan cheese (for garnish).
Directions :
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss chicken wings in a large bowl with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper for even coating.
Arrange seasoned wings on a parchment-lined baking sheet or greased wire rack. Bake for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway, until they're crispy and golden.
While wings bake, melt butter in a saucepan on medium. Add minced garlic, sautéing until aromatic. Pour in heavy cream, stirring as it simmers.
Gradually whisk in Parmesan until smooth and thick. Stir in optional nutmeg, then remove sauce from heat.
Transfer baked wings to a large bowl. Pour over Alfredo sauce and toss for thorough coating.
Place coated wings on a serving dish. Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan. Serve hot, accompanied by your favorite dipping sauce.
