I didn't know this could happen!

Having a stuffy nose can be very uncomfortable, making it hard to sleep, focus, and feel good in general. Blocked sinuses can cause headaches, pressure, and trouble breathing, whether it's due to allergies, a cold, or other reasons. Although medicines and nasal sprays can help, they are not always needed. You can actually use a simple method with just your fingers to effectively unclog your sinuses.

Knowing how to naturally relieve sinus congestion is not only easy but also helpful for people who want to avoid using non-prescription drugs. The techniques mentioned use acupressure and massage, which have been used for a long time to help people relax and enhance blood flow.

Before you start:

Keep your hands clean.

Always wash your hands well before touching your face to prevent bacteria or germs from making your sinus problems worse.

Make yourself comfortable.

Sit comfortably in a calm place where you can concentrate on the methods without interruptions.

The Methods:

1. Massage for Eyebrows:

Press softly with your thumbs on the inside edges of your eyebrows, right above the middle of your nose. Gently move your thumbs outwards along your eyebrows. Do this movement for around 30 seconds to one minute. This can help clear your nose and reduce stuffiness.

Pressing on the bridge of the nose.

Put your index fingers on both sides of the bridge of your nose, just under the bone. Press softly and move your fingers in circles for half a minute. This method helps to clear the nose and make breathing easier.

3. Pressure on the cheekbones:

Find the spot where your cheekbones and nostrils meet on your face. Use your two index fingers to gently press on these spots and massage them in small circles for about 30 seconds. This helps to clear sinuses and decrease pressure.

4. Massage for the jawline:

Open your mouth a little and find the muscles below your ears along your jawline. Massage these muscles by moving your index and middle fingers in circles for 30 seconds. This method helps to loosen facial muscles and enhance the flow of mucus in the sinuses.

5. Stretch for the neck:

Lean your head back a little and softly rub the sides of your neck with your fingers, moving from below your ears to your collarbone. Do this movement for around half a minute to a minute. This can help decrease stress and promote the flow of lymph.
